Caregiving Experience:
I was the sole caregiver for my mother for almost 7 years. The last month or so of her life (she died 9/13/2006) she choose to go the Hospice route and that was particularly intense. I interact with all the area agencies and, now that I'm free once again, will be able to get out more and get to the legislators and caregivers in other areas of this state, something I've wanted to do for a long time now.
