Profile:
Like many people in our society, my caregiving experience was one of the most rewarding & challenging time in my life. Caring for both parents, working full time and newly married, I had a few things "on my plate". Yet, I felt that it was a privilege and a sacred gift that my parents (and family) entrusted me with their care. I learned so much about being a caregiver from NFCA throughout caring for my parents. It was also very helpful when I received my bereavement kit after their passing. Realizing that you're not alone, that their is information and resources to help caregivers throughout this sacred journey is why I am thrilled to be a part of the CCAN Network!
