I a have not heatlh experience except for what I learn now. I am getting more from caregiving then going to college. There is not an course for this, and it is a change in life for me. I did work in the Banking Industry for years and Clerical Work. I was elected to My Tribal Council as Vice President and have some governmental experience dealing with agencies. I do not work now.

Caregiving Experience:
Take care of my Mother. She has high blood pressure, and diabetes. She has had some episodes with the blood pressure that has lead to falling and breaking a rib and thumb. She is a strong woman and likes to do things herself. Now she is not able and being 81 she is in that age to need help and has other problems with health associated with age. She is a Colon Cancer survivor.

Fun Fact about me:
I enjoy reading when possible and pen pal with friends across the US. That gives me time to release some of the anixety that comes with Caregiving.

Profile:
I don't mind the careing of my mother, she is my best of friends. I have a closeness with her and we do have are arguements and that is part of a Mother/Daughter relationship. I know that she has always been with me. I am ill and have diabetes along with Ulcerative Colitis. That is a disease that takes the colon by surgery or cancer and/or both. I try to handle it all with her illness and age and myself. It can be tough, but with the prayer and God you can manage. Take time for myself and get a break once in awhile helps.
