Caregiving Experience:
My son, Vitto, was born with Down Syndrome and is also a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was two years old, then it came back when he was four years old. He had a bone marrow transplant and has been in remission for four years, he is now eight years old. I used to care for my grandparents, I lived with them my whole life, until I was eighteen when I got married.

Fun Fact about me:
I was a stay at home mom for 13 years. My husband and I play baseball with friends, go out to dinner and have fun. Our family vacation has been a nationwide cheerleading competition annually for the past 7 years. It sounds like a working vacation but it has been really great, that's why we continue to do it every year!

Profile:
My family is in health care and everyone was my advocate and support system when I needed them most. I decided that I want to give back and do the same for others, so I started working at Professonal Parent Care, Private Duty Nursing and am now with Health Care Partners, Inc. I love the elderly and know that I have that peace when I talk to them, like when I lived with my grandparents.
