I love to fish with a group of my women friends, we go offshore fishing to catch the big ones. I stay busy with city government, fundraising, mardi-gras, and I'm a Real Estate broker.

Profile:
Candace was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She has over 20 years of extensive experience in Sales, Marketing, and Sales Management. In addition she was Executive Sales Trainer for a major management consulting firm based in Chicago, IL. Candace was also one of the co-founders of Southern Biotechnology in Birmingham, AL in the early 80's. She has worked in numerous capacities at the University of Alabama in Birmingham Health Systems which is one of the leading medical research and patient care centers in the US. She was affiliated with various departments including the UAB Cancer Center, UAB Diabetes Research and Training Center, UAB Departments of Microbiology and Immunology & Research. Candace was Executive Vice President of Sales as well as general managing partner for Allied-MCCS in Tampa, FL.

In the late 1980's her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and she has since recognized the need for further education and support for the families and caregivers involved.
